I'm Rishanthan, an aspiring entrepreneur passionate about technology, innovation, and creative problem-solving. Currently pursuing Software Engineering at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, I aim to build impactful solutions that bridge technology and business.
Beyond my academic journey, I have experience in mentoring, facilitation, and leadership, having contributed to initiatives like the British Council SEDR Active Citizen Project. These experiences have sharpened my skills in communication, project management, and strategic thinking essential for building and scaling businesses.
I also explore my creative side through graphic design (Photoshop), photography, and videography, blending tech with visual storytelling to create engaging content.

I served as a Mentor in the SEDR Active Citizen Project conducted by the British Council from September 2023 to May 2024. In this role, I played a key part in guiding and supporting a cohort of Active Citizens in implementing Social Action Projects aimed at promoting alternative dispute resolution methods and fostering social cohesion.
My responsibilities included mentoring Active Citizens, monitoring project progress, and ensuring the successful completion of Social Action Plans. Through this experience, I contributed to empowering youth in local communities to address social issues effectively and promote dialogue for conflict resolution.
My involvement in the project allowed me to develop valuable skills in leadership, mentorship, and community engagement, making a positive impact on local stakeholders and fostering a culture of peace and understanding.
